The Virtuose 6D is the only product on the market combining a high force feedback in the 6 degrees of freedom with a large workspace. The Virtuose 6D is especially suited for scale one manipulations, for instance in simulation and virtual reality, but also for distant applications, such as robotic control, also called teleoperation or remote handling. It is also used with success as a co-manipulation medical robot and in rehabilitation applications, where its large workspace and its high transparency prove a lot of advantages compared to robotic solutions less suited for the job.
Haption T-REX Teleoperation of a Robot
Telerobotics extender (TREX) is a force-feedback teleoperation application. It provides an innovative solution for all cases where people work in hazardous, arduous or otherwise constrained environments, allowing them to perform their tasks without exposing themselves to any risk. With TREX, the operator takes control of the remote robot through the Haption arm. The use of a master arm with force feedback allows the operator to feel both the dynamics of the robot, and the forces applied by it. The sensation of force is essential to reduce the risk of damage to the environment or the robot itself. The robot reproduces faithfully the movements of the master arm, as if it was an extension of the operator.
